Our Quality
Unlike ordinary rodent blocks, Henry's Healthy Blocks contain no corn, grains, starches, or sweeteners. These are "high carb" foods that can raise blood sugar, cause weight gain, and aren't part of the natural diet of rodents. In fact, our blocks have a glycemic load of close to zero, to avoid overweight and help prevent diabetes.
Henry's Healthy Blocks also contain no soy products, which have been shown in studies to cause tumors in rodents. And of course, we also left out the preservatives. Plus, there are no "feed grade" ingredients, the low-quality "waste" products that are normally used in pet foods. Every ingredient in Henry's Healthy Blocks is "food grade"—the same high quality you buy for your family at the grocery store.
